Robert has written on a range of topics including human rights in Africa, masculinity in urban Uganda, globalization in Indonesia, and the martial arts in Chicago's African-American communities.

 

Robert is currently working on a book manuscript based on his ethnographic research in the Bwaise community in Uganda.
